Nestled in the heart of Byron Bay, we create small-batch, handcrafted Ghee, Ayurvedic foods, and healing spice and adaptogen blends. From our rich, aromatic ghee crafted from New Zealand grass-fed cows to our comforting dhal and kitchari mixes, each product is a testament of love to simplicity and quality.

Meet Jen | Founder +Owner

Founder Jen started Sol Organics in 2014 with a single product in mind: clean, healthy, nutrient-rich, grass-fed Ghee.

It all started with diagnosis of an auto-immune condition (Crohn’s) and a need to seek more natural therapies for a sustainable, long-term treatment management plan that nourished the body.

This search led Jen to study the ancient healing practice of Ayurveda ‘The Science of Life’: 

  • Ayu + Veda (Ayu means life and Veda means the science)

It was here that Jen learned just how incredible the golden liquid (Ghee) could be, and how powerful it can be in the kitchen!

From that single product, and using Ayurvedic healing wisdom has her guiding light, Jen has developed a range of products, ghee infusions, dhals, kitchari's, adaptogenic blends, spices, and golden mylks ... all designed to power your health, your happiness, and your love for clean, simple ingredients.

  • Ghee does not need refrigeration. It does not spoil easily, and is a shelf stable. Use a clean, preferably metal spoon when using your ghee to avoid contaminating the jar or tub.

  • Our Certified Organic ghee is both Organic and grass-fed. Our grass-fed ghee range is not organic.

  • All of our ghee is grass-fed.

    100% of our ghee products are made from 100% unsalted butter from grass-fed New Zealand dairy cows.
