Garlic, Ghee + Herb Naan

Ingredients 

  • ⁠1 3/4 cup self-raising flour ⁠

  • 1 tsp sea salt ⁠

  • 1 cup coconut yoghurt (or any unsweetened plant-based yoghurt) ⁠

  • 1 tbsp olive oil⁠

    then ... ⁠

  • 2 tbsp ghee⁠

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced⁠

  • 2 tbsp coriander, chopped⁠

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt⁠

Directions

  1. Into a large mixing bowl, add in flour and salt and mix well. ⁠

  2. Next, add in the coconut yoghurt and mix well, I find using my hands here easier. add in 1 tbsp oil and mix well. ⁠

  3. Then onto a lightly floured surface, need the dough until it can easily be formed into a ball and its smooth and elastic. Divide the dough into 8-10 equal parts. ⁠

  4. Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium-high heat. ⁠

  5. Roll out the piece of dough until quite thin (about 1mm), and then place onto skillet for about 2 minutes each side or when one side get some colour and starts to bubble up a little. ⁠

  6. Warm up the ghee so it’s melted, then take off heat and mis in the minced garlic, coriander and salt. Stir well to combine.⁠

  7. Once the Naan breads are done, brush one side with the garlic and herb butter.⁠

  8. Enjoy with some of Sol Organics Dhal for an easy, healthy dinner for four!⁠
